DEEP DIVE INTO HISTORY: The Root of the Problem—18th Century Dentistry

Join a historic interpreter as they delve into the fascinating world of 18th century North Carolina currency —  and get the chance to see some up close.

The free program is part of the museum’s Deep Dive into History series, programs designed to give visitors a deeper understanding of our shared past through costumed interpretation. Each Deep Dive will delve into a specific theme in Lower Cape Fear and maritime history. Programs run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and visitors can drop-in at any time during the program to interact with the presenter one-on-one. Registration is not required for the program, which is designed for all ages.
