Kyra McCormick
Originally from Westerly, RI, McCormick attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA, and studied archaeology and public history. To escape Erie’s lake effect snow, she relocated to the area to gain MA in public history from UNCW. Prior to being hired here, she worked part-time at the Burgwin- Wright House as a historical interpreter and a weekend manager at the Bellamy Mansion.

Katy Menne
Growing up in a military family, Katy has had the opportunity to travel all over the world, however, she calls California home. She earned her BA in History and Masters in Teaching Secondary Social Studies at the University of South Carolina. Katy has been teaching in formal and informal settings since 2011. She joined the museum in 2018 as the Curator of Education.
