Due to concerns with COVID-19, the museum’s in-person public programming has been temporarily suspended. In the interim, we are offering increased virtual programming.

In addition, the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is sponsoring free access to Streamable Learning for public schools in Tier One counties during the 2020-21 school year. The museum is one of the department’s participating locations. School districts in Tier One counties interested in taking advantage of the free access to Streamable Learning should contact Director of Program Integration Jason Diem at Jason.diem@ncdcr.gov.
