Homeschool education

Ages 7 to 17

Homeschoolers can enjoy their own Welcome Aboard field trips. Sign your homeschooler up for an hour-long class with the curator of education. Monthly topics look at such subjects as our first mariners, Native Americans; World War II; Recycling; Sea Life; and more. Sign up early as these classes are capped at 20 students!

  • All programs are subject to NC State taxes
  • 10% discount for Friends Family Membership and above
  • Registration closes the day prior at 5 p.m.

Bring your class to the museum for a program(s) of your choosing!

  • All options align with N.C. State Standards.
  • Prices range from $1-$10 per child.
  • Title 1 schools are exempt from all fees.
