GROUP VISITS

The mission of the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Southport is to collect, preserve, and interpret material culture pertinent to the maritime history of the Lower Cape Fear region.

The mission of the museum’s Education Department is to offer visitors the opportunity to learn about the natural and maritime history of coastal North Carolina through creative, hands-on experiences. Programs are offered year-round for groups from preschool to adult. Groups are invited to schedule a visit during normal museum hours. There is no admission fee.
