DEEP DIVE INTO HISTORY: “Digging for the Past”

FreeJoin Madline Spencer of the North Carolina Underwater Archaeology Division based at Fort Fisher to find out about the tools of the trade of an archaeologist, how they preserve what they find, and how they help us understand the past.
The program is part of the free Deep Dive into History drop-in series, which gives visitors a deeper understanding of our shared past through costumed interpreters and artifacts. The program runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is designed for all ages. Registration is not required. For more information, call (910) 477-5151.
