Join Mr. Hurricane himself, Jay Barnes, for a look back at the historic hurricanes of the past, and those of modern memory. Using images,
history, and meteorology, see the true impact of these storms. With hurricane season having started June 1, remembering the unique power of each storm is important to keep in mind while making this year’s preparations.

All Third Tuesday programs are free and open to the public; donations are appreciated. Lectures are held at the Southport Community Building, 223 E. Bay St., at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Lectures are geared for 16 years and older. For more information or to register, call (910) 477-5151 or RSVP below. Seating is limited, so registration is required.
